Silence Before The Storm - Matte painting 3ds max, Photoshop, VRay May 2011
Matte Painting created during the course on CgTalk with David Luong. This version is alternation of the original which was created without a tilt and at 1.85:1 aspect ratio. I decided to give it bit more movement by tilting the horizon and also cropping some elements into 2.35:1 ratio. Foreground ruins rendered in 3d Max as well as some of the trees in order to get the right lighting. rendered with VRay. C&C are welcome. Thanks for checking out
